What We Do?

We are not tree huggers! But we are jumper wearers.
Here at Green Jumper we encourage councils, shop owners, factories, offices, schools and even individuals at home to turn down the central heating thermostat, just a degree or three, everyday if they can, but specifically on Green Jumper Day, and ask them all to donate the savings they have made, or £1 per person, to our charity.

Our target is to raise £100,000 a year to build and run an eco education centre for children. But let’s not rest there, let’s build 3 , 5 or 20 centres. Places where children can go on day trips, or longer, to learn about sustainability. We’d also like to run an out-reach education programme, via school visits.

The children are the future, if we educate them, they will influence their parents, and together we can secure a sustainable planet.
