Green Jumper’s strapline is “ for the next generation”, that means leaving the planet better than we found it.
We all need to take action if we are to fulfil this ambition, and that is why we created both Green Jumper Day and the Green Jumper Zero Carbon Club.
Green Jumper Day is a charity day, a day when all involved (businesses, schools, councils, shops, clubs and individuals) turn down the heating, wear a big woolly jumper to keep warm (green if you have one, but not essential), save energy, save money and donate to the Green Jumper causes. The money we raise is spent on reforestation projects and free educational material for schools, so the next generations can make informed decisions about their own future and their time protecting the planet for their children.
For those businesses that want to take a step further along the sustainability pathway we have the Green Jumper Zero Carbon Club. The Club is there to help businesses achieve Carbon Net Zero. Any profits made are donated to the Green Jumper Charity.
